The District Board of Ministerial Development (DBMD) exists to help people step into their God-ordained calling through accountability, coaching, and encouragement. They meet as often as the need arises to review, interview, and approve candidates for credentialing with TWC.
Celebration of Ministry & District Conference
Join us on Monday evening at our Celebration of Ministry event as we celebrate ministry milestones and witness the sacred act of ordination. Then join us on Tuesday morning for our annual business conference.

DBA Meeting
The District Board of Administration (DBA) is the governing board of the Chesapeake District in between sessions of the District Conference (DC). The board usually meets every other month either in person or via Zoom, or sooner if the need arises. DBA is elected by DC every year and is comprised of ministerial and lay members in the district.

If you have asked any of these questions (and more), this event is for you! Whether you are curious about ministry or working toward ordination, this event can help answer your questions. If you are an ordained minister pastoring a church, this event is also for you! As their pastor, you are the first point of contact for those starting their ministerial journey. You will be the one to help walk them through the process. You are their mentor! And we want to come alongside you to provide connection and clarity.
Join us for fellowship and dessert at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Wesleyan Church in Harrington, DE. Doors open at 6 p.m. Learn about the DBMD Process, hear about the denominational changes regarding credentials, and ask your questions. There will be fun. There will be dessert. You don't want to miss it!
